headlight upgrade

Has anyone upgraded there headlight bulb to the halogen equivalent? I found a set of 12v 35w/35w halogens that put out 35% more light and was wondering if I should be worried about the heat output. Is there a easy to add some ventilation to the housing if heat would be an issue? I do a lot of riding at night because of my job so I want the most light I can get.

Oh, I also noticed that the headlights seem to point at the ground about 10-15 feet in front, shouldn't they be pointed a little higher?

I adjusted my lights aissues nt ahead and put the halogens in. I left them on for about 45 min to an hour just idling. no sign of any heat issues, and much more light.

There's a pretty bad typo up there and I'm not sure what I was trying to say. I used the white halogen bulbs and boy did it ever make a difference. Like I said before, I let it sit at idle because I figured that would be where the most amount of heat would build up. A rain storm just started, but the first chance I get to take it out at night I'll let you guys know.

I upgraded to eico 12v/45 incandescent bulbs for more light, and then added two 10watt LED spots. here's a vid I made.
