Looking for small part help
I have a CFMOTO Legacy 250, which is a rebranding of the V5.
The engine and CVT are a clone from the Honda Helix 250. On the fuel enricher auto choke, there is a C-clamp holding it on, that C-clamp is secured by a tiny little screw. Does anybody know where I can get one of those tiny little screws? Or know the size and thread count so I can go shop at the hardware store? I don't need a new enricher, but I'll be happy to buy one if it comes with that tiny little screw. Thanks! |

That's a 4mm x 8mm long. looking down on the carb standing at the rear of the bike just to the right should be a plate with 2 screws. Pull one of those out and match it at home depot. Just make sure it's 8mm's long. Your test screw from the plate is about 10mm long. I just swapped them on mine to verify the threads are the same. Most all those exterior screws on that carb are the same except the length.

We travel in the RV a lot and I love Tennessee. So watch it! HAHA. If you haven't removed the goofy coolant circulation thing thats supposed to warm the carb go ahead and do that and use the screw from there. Same Same. 2 deer with one arrow

I know that many members use a cane (like Me ) Ace Hardware has a clip package that is perfect for carrying your cane on your scoot. I mounted the clips on the fender of my bike & can now bring my cane in case I stop anywhere & need it. You do have to drill holes to mount them.
This is FYI! I didn't mean to steal your thread! Irish |
