Madison Wisconsin Scooter Riders
I'm looking to gather a group of riders from Madison Wi. to start a scooter club/gang/whatever you want to call it. Given the amount of scooters in this city there seems to be a lack of clubs.
I have created a social group on scootdawg called Madtown Scooter Gang (in the true definition of gang, no criminal intentions) in the hopes of pulling some people together for discussions, rides, advice or whatever. Hopefully we can get something going here. The only requirement is having a scooter, living or riding in Madison, having an open mind (I don't tollerate racism or small mindedness in general) and a wish to come together with other scooter riders in the area. Hopefully we can get something going here but i can't do it if im the only one in the group so step up my fellow madisonians and lets get something going! |

Until you get your own scooter group organized, the local Vespa riding group in Madison would probably be glad to have you join them on their organized rides.

There is a scoot ride coming up in a few weeks in Sparta, WI, in the driftless area. I don't know how close that is to Madison.

Here is a shop in the Madison area that may know of some organized rides.
I like all the Genuine scoots except the Blur 220. It has had engine issues. http://www.scootertherapy.com/

Yeah, they're a great shop. I have asked him to put a link to my sign up page on his web site. They used to sell other brands too but now all he stocks is Genuines. He's been in business for a long time here in Madison, very knowlegable and nice. From what I've been finding out there used to be a couple clubs that did rides here but they're not around anymore.
