Rain
I stopped at one of the local bike repair shops yesterday to say "Hello". Florida weather. When I went there the sun was out. When I left , a few rain drops were hitting my seat! Naturally I had NO rain gear with me! I headed for home. Got soaked & forgot how much raindrops hurt on your face at 50/55m.p.h. Irish

I haven't been there, or done that, in quite a few years myself......but it maks you feel alive....and appreciate dry clothes.
A helmet with a face shield would help, as would a windshield. I rather envy you Irish.....for you are coming into the best riding weather of the year, down where you are............while those of us in the north, are putting our rides away for the next 5 months. Enjoy your winter....be safe. |

When I lived in N.H. , I used to ride year round. I changed my street bike , to drag race & I couldn't get traction on a dry(summer) road , never mind a winter road so I didn't ride , as much , in the winter.
You're right! It is nice riding year round. All you have to do is watch out for the crazy Florida cage drivers but you have that problem year round! Irish |
