Greetings from Dominica!
Hey guys, just introducing myself, I'm currently living in Dominica (not Dominican Republic). I just purchased a Chinese 50cc scooter to scoot around here! I'm originally from NJ and moved to Dominica from Fort Myers Florida for my wife to attend medical school here.

WELCOME! I can help somewhat with motorcycles (4 stroke) but not much with scooters! I had a shop in N.H. & just moved to Fla. so I don't have the connections that I did but there are a lot of people here that are quite knowledgeble on scooters & are very helpful! Irish

More people!
Welcome! I live in South Florida myself. Starting to get a little concerned about drowning in this humidity. Riding with the visor up is great until a bug lands square in your eye (even with the internal visor down)! Which 50cc model did you get?

Welcome to the forum. I'm glad you made the distinction between the Dominican Republic and Dominica. I was completely unfamiliar with the island of Dominica. Awesome place to own a scooter.
