150CC GY6 High RPM reading, no headlights, no signal lights, no horn

I've been riding my Wildfire R8 scooter to work recently and today something weird happened when I got on the bike after lunch. The signal lights aren't blinking but they will light up, my headlights are off, the horn will not honk, and the RPM gauge starts at about 7k and the needle tries to go past 12k. My tail light is on though. The scooter seems to be riding fine other than this and everything was working prior to today. I'm confused as to what could have happened here, does anyone have an idea?

Well guys sorry for the late update but I figured it out, a lead on the horn came loose, and a barrel connector on the 'green' wire in the main wiring harness came loose. This was probably due to the horriblly bumpy potholed roads I travel on. I did away with the barrel connector on the green wire and soldered the wires together then heatstrinked. I also heatshrinked the horn lead on so it wouldn't come off again. All has been well now!

Thanks for sharing what you found to be the problem and how you fixed it.
