Loving the new tire!
Replaced my Kenda K329 with a Kenda K764 on the rear of my Helix clone. The K329 was ok, I got close to 5k on it. But the K764 is a lot beefier and requires higher air pressure and it sure rides nice. Cost about $50 instead of $30 for the K329, but hopefully I'll get more miles out of it. Feels great in the corners, good tread and more air pressure.

Most of the time, "ya get what ya pay for". Just because something has a lower initial cost, doesn't mean the cost of ownership, will be lower in the end. I went through what you're doing now a few years ago.......found out that, a $50 Michelin has a lower cost per mile number, than the $30 Kenda it replaced.
Glad you're happy with the new sneaker. Ride safely. |
