Pissed 2013 Icebear Mini Cruzzer

I own a 2013 Ice bear Mini Cruzzer. It has almost 4,700 miles on it and I smelled gasoline. So, I checked underneath the trike and the tank was wet. At first, I thought it was the petcock, but I found a drip of fuel on the oppisite side of the tank. What would be the best way to fix it?

Plastic tank or metal? I've heard of plastic tanks swelling from the ethanol in the gasoline but have never seen a example of it happening enough to make a tank leak. I'd pull the tank if necessary and see were the leak is coming from and if possible, what caused it. It could just be a bad seam weld.

Also, could it be a bad gas cap gasket? I've had them get dry rotted and let a bit of gas leak out while gas was splashing around in the tank.

Smile Gas tank

The tank is metal and it's a PIA to find a replacement. So, I'm gonna try JB Weld: Tank Weld. It's been a loyal scooter for the last 6 years.
