Update: After an inspection of the drive sheaves I noticed some pretty excessive wear in the groves/pins....so I picked up a NCY unit and threw it in set up on the straight slots. I also threw some 10g weights in to see what kind of top end I was missing. I was pretty stoked to see 77mph GPS!!....this is on flat road with NO slope...and NO wind at all! I think with a little tailwind or slope it will crack 80mph...which is a pretty tall feat in my opinion.
I also did a CVT cover hack to keep the trans nice and cool. |
