That's exactly why we are planning nearly a year early.
If you could find a way to save $20 a week, by 50 weeks, youd have $1,000 to ride on. Plus, early plans allow mods and tweaks on your bike.
If we were to leave next week, there would be no way id be ready either.

Location is the number one issue when trying to put this sort of thing together.
It's not just finances for most its available time. If you have a small displacement scoot its tough to "ride"" it to an event that's not very close. Time, time time.....

That said cant make everyone happy. One mans ceiling is another mans floor as we used to say in the city. It may be that we end up with a few get togethers scattered around the country.

Personaly I have time so location east of the Mississippi works for me.

Be Big,
AMAC

The Dragon would be a great place! Those with smaller scoots might want to trailer them, or use a hitch carrier, and just drive there. Also, open it up to all scooterists, and spread the word. It could become a huge rally.

Have you rode it before? Would you be interested in joining our Rally?

In this great day and age of the internet, we could have several in various areas on the same weekend, and video chat from various locations at our rallies ....

Having multiple ones on the same weekend may be a logistics nightmare, but overall it would still be good for camaraderie.

I'm in north east indiana, and I would be up for arranging things for this area should it be one of the places for a multiple rally weekend , should it go that route ..

I've never done it myself, but have friends who have scooted it. I'd sure be interested in joining in.

I know this wasn't meant for me, but since it'll be a while before it happens, I'll probably be able to go. Did the Dragon on my CX500 before my kids were born. And don't remember a single bit of it.

It will be nice to have you come along as well.
And, from what I hear, kids have a lot of side effects, such as... lol

The Finger Lake area is a beautiful area.
Every once in a while, I'd get sent up to Buffalo NY, to work on some of our printing equipment located there.
We would zip up RT15 to Corning, go left and drive into Buffalo.
So I never really got to explore the Finger Lake area to much myself.
I have friends that have vacationed in that area for years now and said there are miles and miles of back roads, with awesome scenery everywhere.
Lots of state parks, and lots of private ones also.
Just something to ponder on.
