Finally made a video. My buddy isnt wanting to upload those other videos we took, so me and my other buddy took a vid with MY phone this time. The wheelie could have went longer, but I dont like pushing that hard because it likes to basically flip on me after a certain point(no rear brake to control) LOL

So im wanting my scoot to launch harder... ALOT harder.
I think I may start with 10g rollers. I have a mix of 9.8/12.8 right now. If that doesnt satisfy me then I may play around with the 3 little springs in the rear clutch assembly. Preferably the blue 1000 ones....

Been workin on the scoot a little bit today. Gave her a much needed bath!
I also took apart the transmisson. I cleaned and lubed the rollers & variator assembly.I put my old modded variator face on from the old motor(modified for better take off as well as more top end. The faces will let the belt ride lower for take off and also squeeze together tighter for higher top speed). I also took the rear apart to clean out the junk chinese grease in the bearing and put nice stuff in. Sanded the clutch pads in hopes that they will bite more and also sanded inside the clutch housing, where the pads ride. I changed my oil and am now running fully synthetic 10w40 and running fully synthetic 70w90 in the rearend. She should fly now!!

Probably did some stuff that I should not have today...but hey it was raining !! lol
I modded my trans some more. I removed some material from the fan , making it thinner like the race fans. Also drilled a few holes in the clutch bell where the pads ride. (left stock)

It was a spare clutch bell , so if it makes it worse somehow, I can always go back

Took her up the road to see if there was any difference. Its hard to tell. It takes off harder thats for sure but top speed is questionable. It doesnt help that its cold and windy & I wore my helmet which I usually dont wear on my scoot.
Getting low on petrol... $1.50 fix

Went to install a shorty axle today...just to realize it is a 50cc one.
It is made differently but I still made it work for now. I had to modify one of the gears for everything to fit right and turn without any binding. I still need a stator so I have not been able to take it up the road to test but it does spin freely and quietly. Stock gear on 50cc axle Modified gear on 50cc axle This is what the inside looked like when I first pulled the cover off

Whats up everybody!!
Time for yet another update ! I am in the process of replacing my POS 24mm CHINESE contraption of a carb for a Japanese Keihin 30mm. While doing this I am making sure all the ports match/line up, because last time I did not pay attention to how they lined up, and it wasnt very pretty. So I modified my intake spacers(running two with this carb) and I had to remove quite a bit material from the intake manifold(to match it to the new carb) that I had already ported rather heavily. What im using is a used carb but it is like new on the inside and it came off a running scoot, so it should work nicely! Pics 24mm vs 30mm Porting the manifold and spacers to more closely match the carb How the spacer matches (not perfect...but its a scooter !! lol) Feel free to comment or make suggestions ... Thanks SD
