putting away for winter

I have to do some work on my 2t and I was wondering if I should put sta-bil in it of shut the gas off and run it till it stalls?

Do not use Sta-Bil. That stuff gunks up carbs badly! Use Seafoam in the gas and drain the carb bowl. Maybe squirt a little 2T oil in the spark plug hole and crank it over a couple times without the plug to coat the inside of the cylinder too. It will smoke a lot when you start it in the spring, but should burn off pretty quickly.
