Long day at the "office" repost

I work as a construction manager and safety officer for a general contractor. Now that I have a large enough bike I get to have long days at the office where I just ride mostly. Here's a trip I made a little while back. Thaought you all would enjoy it.
Well a long ride any way. I got paid today to take a ride. A nice 100 mile round trip kind of ride so here was my desk top for nearly 2 hours today.

I had to take care of some business in a town north of here called Taos. Its a nice ride and instead of going up the mountain in this case you literally go through the mountain.
These mountains:

We really think of these as mesas, which aren't considered proper mountains really.
Into the gorge

Getting deeper

Climbing out, the beginning

The top

Taos downtown

The Suzuki was amazing all the way the highlight was passing a Harley at the steepest point with ease. ;D
The bike handles far better than a scooter should.
Hope your day was as nice as mine

Here it's hard to take pics of the bike when your sitting on it. This was on the way home from Taos on another trip but it works

We aim to please

On a trip to the Scoot The Ozarks rally in AR. one time, I on my 250 Reflex and one of my riding pals on his Silverwing scoot were moving along quite finely and had passed several Harleys along the way. I led the way for most of the trip. At the rally standing around talking about the trip to other folks, he'd look over at me and ask: Say, Mike, how many Harleys did we pass coming down here?" I said "Truth is, I believe we passed ALL of them"

Great pics you shared with us. I'd like to make a trip out west one of these days, probably as a camping trip.

I've been kicking around the idea of having a scooter rally at the company's bed and breakfast in Chama, NM... Plenty of camping nearby

Hey, now that sounds like an idea. To get me to come way out there it would have to be not too cold here and not too hot there. Spring or fall probably? In the spring I could put my Reflex streamliner project on hold in the first 3 weeks in April so I could go some time then. (if no snow or ice storms come. They've been known to happen here around that time of year) First 20 days of May is all booked and I do have events I'm going to this coming September. The STO rally in AR. and the Maxi-Scoots rally in KY., but all of October is open for travel. (so far anyway)

Depending on weather, terrain, speed, and how quickly I want to speed, it gets between 55 and 66. It gets 66 if i ride it slowly but I rarely do...
