I cleaned the carb.i have a good tan plug and its running better than ever.i just went up a hill at 22 and usually 15.i don't get it but it needs to be fixed before the cold weather comes

Most people wouldn't be complaining! But OK if I get what your saying you yhijkvthe scooter is over working itself, the way this happens is usually running to lean (to much air) take a look at your spark plug if its whiteish (as opposed to gray to brown or charcoal) you may be running lean.

looks tan to me.where do the wires go that the enrichener plugs into?is it a 12 volt hot wire.when I first start it it smokes then stops when warm.that would make me think its working

give a high idle till its warm so I don't have to hold the throttle.i paid for a new one I expect it to work

Have you tried turning in the screw attached to the throttle cable a little? the one that the linkage rests against and holds the idle?
