As far as a jacket goes, just a light windbreaker is sufficient.

A light windbreaker is sufficient only for standing in light winds. The material they are made out of has been known to melt into your road rash. It is even less pleasant to experience than it sounds.

Would you wear a baseball uniform to play football? Why would you wear a walking uniform to ride a motorcycle?
