New member; loud buzzing noise, HELP!

First off, greetings everyone! Im new around here, just bought a 150cc Zhingyue (knock off chinese scoot) about a month ago, and thanks to creeping on these forums, was able to successfully clean the carb, so I thought hell, I should register just in case something else pops up.

Any way, onto the problem: theres a loud buzzing noise that is very prevelant during acceleration and cruising, not so much during idle, acceleration is slow (but its still keeping speed and power once it gets up there), and after less than a minute of idling it dies out. it almost sounds like its not getting enough gas or something but all the lines are new, tight and flowing. i did a little research and am seeing a lot of suggestions that it might be the valve reeds? what do you guys think? id like to knock out the least troubling possibilities before i jump to conclusions....

thanks!
