Pleasure meeting ya!

My ride is a 2011 tao tao i got cheap but its beat up! I have an 06 gsxr 1000 also but thats irrelevant to the forum i assume. Been 2wheelin for most my life. Love the lil scoot and have plans. They seem cheap for parts.

It ran great at first even though every piece of plastic was broke. Except had hard time pullin my 220# behind up these virginia hills. Then out blue while riding it died! I let off throttle and retwisted and it had life and died again. For 3 miles i twisted like i really didn want to push it and it made it home but my arm felt like it was gonna fall off. I have some knowledge of mechanics and conclusion to me was fuel/ carb. It was getting fuel. I drilled and removed rivits from bowl and cleand carb. Got it runnin today but still no where near right. Not sure after reading through here if its because i removed air box. When it acts like its gonna die i restrict air going in carb and it revs back up. Idle screw cranked all way in. Conclusion i think i might order a new carb.

Adjust the valves. They tighten with use.

Adjust the intake valve (top) to .004" and the bottom to .005".
