clogged carb?

I have a 2t with only 469 miles on it.i put sta-bil in it before the winter and started it the other day no problem.it smoked like crazy but ran fine.i go to start it yesterday and nothing.i took the gas line off at the filter and it was clogged so I blew it out and when cranking the gas is coming out good.when I connected it still nothing.i took the plug out and put carb cleaner in the head and it started for a few seconds.my guess is clogged jets but would like some advice please

Do you pre-mix or does your scooter auto mix your oil? Either way take off the carburetor and blow out the main and pilot jet with compressed air or carburetor cleaner and try again, once installed you will have to crank it a few times to fill the carb, try keeping the air filter off and manually choke the carb with your hand while starting

Sta-bil has never worked for me. Got a clogged carb because of it, probably same as you. Use Seafoam next time instead.

If the bowl is empty it might be your petcock or a vacuum leak
