not starting

I put sta-bil in my 2t before winter and it started right away the other day.it doesn't start now and I pulled the line from the filter and nothing came out when trying to start it.i cleaned it and now when I crank it gas comes out like it should but still doesn't start.took the plug out and put carb cleaner in it and it fired right away but died.so if gas is coming from the from filter I would have something clogged in the carb correct?

You proably should physically remove the carb. bowl and spray clean that area. especially the pilot jet(the little one-kinda looks like a missile, when removed).
Since the fuel line was all plugged up, you can only imagine that the bowl is full of that too. float could be stuck in the closed position as well.
