Sorry, I personally don't think it matters. I've found with my 2008 roketa that looking for parts. I've never bought roketa parts. Let me ask you first, what engine is in your 244cc or the 257cc that makes the diffence. Let me know and I'll show you how I order parts.

Just a note, here. you can't read the tag on the bike to make the determination about what type of motor you have all the time. Example, I have a 2008 MC54 250B with a 244cc motor.... But my 244cc motor is a linhai (horizontal) motor.
Generally, you have: 244cc (cfmoto --honda -- clone vertical engine) 257cc (linhai --yamaha-- clone horizontal engine) Mine happens to be a 244cc horizontal motor. If you bike has a horizontal motor, then the water pump should fit regardless of year.. These motors are "stamped" out year after year. I don't know enough about the vertical motors to tell you if it will work the same. To tell the difference in motors... if the cylinder jug of the motor points toward the front wheel, it is a horizontal linhai clone.. Ih the cylinder jug of the motor points toward the seat, it is a vert cfmoto clone. Also, always replace your thermostat with the pump... I burnt up pump can mess up a thermostat... If you have it off, might as well replace it while your in there. Hope this helps. Smoak |

I have this engine. The 257cc is the Linhai clone and the 244cc is the cfmoto clone.
