gas gauge

I have a Chinese piece of **** and the gauge didn't work when I got it then I guess it got loose maybe from a bump.do these always do this or am I going to have to guess.the Chinese nightmares begin lol

Probably a wire got loose or was never connected from the factory. Follow the wiring to the gauge and the tank sensor. Make sure it's not disconnected anywhere.

its reading a quarter tank but is full.do these have floats in the tanks?

Mine does, but it tends to read full until maybe half a tank or so. Maybe the float is stuck? Mine is also a Hyosung, so could be a completely different beast.

Pissed

these Chinese scooters suck.ive built 5 Harleys from the ground up and usually can fix any small engine but this thing has got me pissed
