Oil to use

I bought a roketa 250, should get it today or tommorow. I have read not to use syntetic oils, so I bought regualer 15-40. Today I was told by a biker friend to only use syntetic and he doesnt know why I would ever use regualr oil.

Question, why or why not use syntetic oil?

Most of us use dino oil for the 4t engine break in period , to let the rings seat in properly and so as not to have minor leaks
After that we use synthetic
When you get your scoot do a full PDI, its the proper way to a happy scoot with a long life

Welcome to ScootDawg & Congrats on the new ride.

Some scooter dealers will void your warranty if you use synthetic oil.

As I said in another thread, I only use Rotella T 15w-40 in all my toys and cars.

I did Dyno for the break in, and now nothing but synthetic.
