That makes perfect sense to me. But it's not happening all the time. So it's got to be how that battery is sitting. I'm thinking more and more that's its a bad cable.

You know, this might be out in left field, but did you check and see if the battery post itself is OK. It might be flexing somehow and breaking the connection internally. I would try tugging on it and see if it moves. Of all things, a broken battery might be your issue.

I suppose that's possible but I just changed out the old battery for a new battery in Jan. http://www.2smallerwheels.blogspot.c.../label/battery

I took it to my mechanic and we will let them figure it out. It's making me
