Gy6 150cc Performance Possibilities ?
Hey,
Okay I own a alien longbo gy6 150cc scooter with the LB1P57QMJ and my goal is to run a strong 70mph and maintain it the best I can up hills without foing to a BBK just yet but with this motor type it apperantly limits the mods I can do. So what mods could I do with this motor. I've read this motor has a taller head and shorter valve springs limiting what cams I can use. Mods thus far: Blue Cdi Uni filter 12g koso rollers Koso clutch 1500 clutch and rpm springs Future mods: 30mm Carb "In the mail" with matching mmanifold. Reject to 125-135. Cams "if possible cammed for more mid to top end speed" Final drive gear "geared more for mid to top end speed" Nos kit "More for hills than anything" Performance valve springs " If motor allows" Kevlar belt Upgraded vacuum/ fuel lines. Kenda tires Possible stretch kit Question? Can you put in a bigger stroker with out a bbk. Question? What aftermarket options do I have with that motor. Or is what I'm trying to do to far out of the question? |

150cc performance
firecrackers, firecrackers! light the fuse on that one and let it go. 150cc performance just isn't made to go 70 mph reliably. step up to a maxi scooter. 250cc or larger. Maybe a motorcycle. most reliably are the Japaneese brands, Honda Suzuki etc.
Anytime you burn the candle at both ends, it burns twice as bright. Also twice as fast.
