Your 50cc top speed

So I finally broke the 50mph mark! Really happy and excited about it. I got a 52mm dome piston BBK high compression on it along with an performance exhaust, k&n type air filter, 100 main jet, koso variator with 7g rollers, prodigy racing clutch with 1000 Springs and stock contra spring, Gates powerlink belt, stock cdi, and the 49/17 gear. What has your top speed been? What you running? Think it's possible for me to get 55mph?

Just put K & N products & hit search. You will get their website! You can type in the make-model-year-etc & they will tell you the filter to use. The filters seem expensive but when you weigh the price against many new stock filters & consider that the K&Ns can be oiled & reused , the price of a K&N is much better! I put one on mine & it's great! Irish

Well done, junbug! Hitting the half Ton on a 4t 50cc is impressive. What is the make/model of your scooter?

I agree with you that the scooter should do more. If your specs are correct, your engine is either 88 or 100 cc, and obviously while achieving 50mph, even GPS verified, is good but still somewhat slow.
