Grip Puppies?
I hate to show my stupidity but what are Grip Puppies? If they are footware they sound like a good way to break your ankle when riding! Irish

I had them on my Honda Pacific Coast. They were more comfortable on long trips. If I remember correctly sometimes they'd get black stuff on my hands, but it came off easily. They were very comfortable, and in increased the diameter of the grips themselves, which helped me since my hands are not small. They lasted about 4 years, I think one started to tear, but for the money they were a great investment.

These are the best grips I've ever used, I put them on everything for the last 30 years.

The front 1/2 of my trike is a 2006 Sportster 1200. It has fairly large grips to start with so I doubt they would do me any good! Irish
P.S. Just guessing. |

Grip puppies
After a month with using the grip puppies my throttle hand seems to hurt more with the G pups . Seems like my right hand feels better with less circumference. I do wear motor cross gloves with adds to the amount my hand is open. No different feeling with left hand. But they do add some cushioning.

Blueboy,
These grips look nice and are praised in the reviews. I have a question though. I see they list the different IDs for throttle and non; so I'm assuming you would just slice the original grip and peel it off. The ones I had seen ... ebay, came with the throttle sleeve as part of the grip. Last edited by Gene563; 07-28-2015 at 02:07 PM. Reason: Duh! |

Grip puppies
The ones I got just slide over the stock grips with the help of some soapy water.
