Election Day

Anyone else get out and vote today? I took the scoot to do my civic duty.....and it turned into a 35 mile ride, with free coffee at my favorite morning stop. 55 degrees when I left....which makes it a great day for these parts. Hope it stays this way til Christmas.

I was up with the chickens this morning and got to the polling place well before opening time, and I still had
about 50 other voters ahead of me in line. Great Americans fulfilling there civic prerogative to vote. I actually
had to cast a ballot twice as the first one just didn't want to stay in the machine. Wasn't anything that I did so
the ballot sheet must have been wanky in some way, but I got r' done.

Slapped on the Gatorskins, and went did the deed, took 1.5 hours to get through the lines.
Then took a nice long ride to clear the filthy lies of rhetoric and bullshit, from my mind.
It was a damn beautiful ride too.

Many months ago , I said that I wasn't going to vote for the lesser of two evils anymore. That idea went up in the air when I saw my choices. Irish

2169 members here......Only 4 of us made it to the polls?? That's really pitiful.

I have voted in every presidential election since I got out of the USMC. However, I did not get to vote this year. I moved to another county on Oct 31, and did not have time to register. I will be registered for the 2018 mid-term elections. A lot of crazy things can happen between now and the mid-terms.
