Isle of Mann TT!

Last night I put the Velocity channel on at approx. 11:00. They interviewed an injured top ride that cannot compete this year. The thing that surprised me was that they are making great strides with electric bikes. They haul ass! To me that defeats the Isle of Mann TT but that's just me!

It's been on every night this week. It must be hard to sit on the seat with balls that BIG! Last night it was nice to hear the winner speak with an Irish Broque!(sp?)

P.S. It takes BIG ones to go that fast 3" from the curb!

Last night they had sidecar races. The ones where the person in the sidecar moves allover for weight transfer.

Last night was the Super TT. Unfortunately four racers died! It only makes sense! The winner was doing 163 mph on the straights!

P.S. I've done over 100 mph & it feels like your flying + you better have good brakes & tires!

It's one thing to see a race bike doing over 160mph on the high banks of Daytona, but that kind of speed on the narrow roads of the IOM is just psycho.

I like the rider cams! You get to ride along at crazy speeds! My wife thought it was sped up until she saw the speed in the corner. Truly insane! I used to rock on the Manx TT Super Bike video game in the arcade, the one were your feet are on the bike and you really lean to turn. Always had a Top 3 in the high scores on the Isle course, but if it was a REAL bike on that course I would be dead last!
