No, your starter isn't turning it over due to the larger piston/higher compression. Nothing to do with spark. Your battery is weak or you need a heavier duty starter. Probably the starter.

Do you know what size the rollers are? If you have 100cc displacement you should be able to pull heavier rollers. I would think a scooter as heavily modified as that should be able to go faster than stock. If your starter is straining you have a lot of displacement there and gearing is probably the limiting factor.

i have a stock 2t minarelli and it always does 42 and i weigh 185.stock weight were 5 grams and i bought a performance variator with 4 grams and still hit 45 but better take off.with 5 grams and performance variaror it does 45 and 50 on a slight hill.im glad i bought a jonway cause its been good to me for 1400 miles.my rpms at 42 are 7000

dang. I got 5g in there now and i get 30 up hill. now I'm going to 7g since i put the BBK,exhaust, and new clutch. I get it back tomorrow. I'd be happy with 45-50 flat and 35 up hill.. On a side note my Nephew works on cars,scooters,etc, but he riggs stuff up too much and he don't know as much as he acts(that comes straight from his Dad's mouth..lol) so I won't let him work on it.the other day I go down to the shop cause my parts are in and guess who works there...my nephew...sigh..can't win
