TaoTao 2011 ATM50 eating belts
Just bought a used ATM50, and it seems to be eating belts ....
I have disassembled it and it appears all the parts are correct, and the clutch and gears are not locked up ... I think it may just need a good cleaning, to remove all the crap from the first belt it ate ... But just wanted to get some other opinions ... I will post some pictures tomorrow if I don't get it figured out ... **This is a repost because I posted it in the wrong place , sorry ** |

When the belt is new it's more prone to wear, as it needs to wear in a bit. Belt wear should reduce after a while.
If not, try to check the pulley counter spring, I found mine was very weak, resulting in occasional belt slip! |
