I'm back! I made my wife happy & spent ONE night in that place because now that I straightened out she's always saying how nice it is to answer the phone at night & not have to wonder what police dept it is & not wonder what hospital or jail I'm in! I told her that I'm 72 now but old habits die hard. I'm still Irish! I just took one broken awning off but t watch out for the wind behind the eye that wind is still a bitch on a ladder! Take care everyone & watch out for that wind BEHIND the EYE! Irish

Glad you avoided major damage. My sister had to evacuate from Wilmington Island (Ga), but stayed in downtown Savannah. They still are not allowing residents back onto Wilmington due to downed trees and utility lines.

From what I've seen(on TV) Georga(sp?) had a lot of flooding & loss of power! The area that I live in has most of the power lines underground- We never lost power! It flickered a few times but didn't go off. Is your sister able to go back yet? Irish

My sister went back to Wilmington Island today and the power was back on. Her place is not damaged. Those big oak trees they have in Savannah can really demolish a house if they are blown over.
