GY6 150cc bogs/dies under throttle

I would love some help on this. It idles just fine, but when I give it gas, it bogs and eventually dies. I changed the spark plug and put new fuel in it, but it's still not working.

Here is a video of what is happening. Thanks!

Hi
Welcome aboard
Pleased to meet you
I would start by tuning your carburetor

Then i would check your valve clearance

Take care and ride safely

Thanks, am I better off just buying a new carb? Seems for $30, that would be much easier.

If I do, where is the best place to get one? I've been reading about "upgraded" versions, I'm wondering if that is the best bet?

I am having the same problem with a Jonsway 150. Spark plug is very black and looks too rich. I am leaning toward a firing problem. Never had problem with the carb before and this is usually an air in leak on these scooters but the black plug would suggest otherwise. What did the plug you removed look like? Light brown or black?

the idle jet is clear but the main jet is clogged..I had the issue in reverse a pita to clean, i used the strands from a bicycle cable in a drill before it worked to get it open finally..if spark plug is black, it could be the wrong plug, a weak coil, clogged air filter or the jet is too large.
