taotao 50cc jet size

I have a taotao 50cc scooter that is going to become the power plant for a 3 wheeler. I want to get some more umph out of it, so I plan to run a cone filter and replace the stock muffler with one meant for a riding mower (the 8'' cylinder kind) I did this once on a 150cc scooter and it sounded awesome but ran out of fuel at higher revs. So I know I will need to re-jet the 50cc.


Just wondering if anyone has re-jetted their taotao 50cc for air filter and muffler mods and what size they found worked. I have some jets on hand but would like to get an idea of the size range I might need.


If it works well I might do the same on the "Kooter", a taotao 50cc powered go kart trike I made.
