Having trouble solving this issue.

Lately I have been having this weird issue of vibrations coming from my bike. It is a TaoTao thunder-50. Recently the belt went on me so I put on a new one, and replaced the variator because I scratched it up trying to get it off (oops). The issue i have is it feels like the clutch side pully is getting hung up during its in/out movement. I have a video here that will show you exactly what I'm talking about. I have search for for 3 days now on the internet and have found nothing that answers my question. I'm trying to figure out if its the spring or the whole assembly that needs to be replaced. or if there might be something else thats causing this.

Thank you in advance!!

Details about the bike:

2014 TaoTao
80cc upgrade
stock head
Stock carb
stock clutch assembly
5g Dr. Pully sliders
New gates powerlink belt
almost 7000km
