yamaha C3

Hi all, I have a 2009 C3 with 7000 miles. Last fall I had to replace the head gasket. Recently I can only drive about a mile or so and it just stops. The fuel pump stops. After a 1/2 hr rest it starts up again. Is there a relay or safety switch which is not allowing power to the fuel pump?

You might want to check with your Yamaha dealer. They have had a multitude of fuel pump issues on their fuel injected scoots. Yours might have been recalled.
