new carb issues
Hello its been awhile since i needed help but im stumped. So i have a sunl vip and i just put a kei hin carb on it right from the start i had to give a little gas to start. So i took the idle jet from my stock carb and put it in no luck. Plus when i come to a stop it stales out or the idle will be at 3k one minute and 2k the next. The a/f screw is three turns out and the main jet is a 79 . The stock was a 78. I also am having a bogging when i give it gas from a roll or from a stop. So any ideas or something im missing. I always wondered why i hate messing with carbs. Thanks

Drop the needle (raise needle clip 1 or 2 positions) and adjust idle screw on a hot motor.

Yeah, put air/fuel screw at 2.5 turns out and drop the needle. Then make fine adjustments with the a/f screw on a hot engine till you get the desired result.
