Home from scooter trip

150 mile camping trip on my SMax. With 70 Lbs of camping gear ,in top case ,saddle bags, underseat & on the seat. The SMax did fantastic with extra weight the crosswinds weren't bad. Drove at 60- 68 mph could of gone faster but I like the speed I drove at. $4.00 worth of gas. This is a True Wonder Scooter. At speeds under 70mph I don't see a need for anything bigger. (I love this SMAX!)

I didn't ride beyond 65 mph when I had a motorcycle. If one of these 200cc GY6s (169cc actually would do a sustained 60 mph without exploding I would probably be set. Time will tell.

I was sustaining 65-70 mph for 30 miles before slowing down for the next town.
I was not on any interstate. Roads I drive on are 55- 70 mph roads. Just right speed for two wheel travel.

Thumbs Up

Yup, off the freeway and moderate speeds are best for actually experiencing the trip. Congrats on the first of many...
