New guy from west palm beach!
Hey what's happening everyone.
I'm josh an live in west palm beach florida I picked up a kikker 5150 hk1(I think) with a 110cc(again I think) motor in it about year and half ago brought it home thru a new carb on it and parked it in the back yard. Life happened moved and now drug her back out to putz around with. Well biggest issues is rust has set in. Things broke and kikker customer service is well nonexistent. So im hopping some of u scoot gurus can help me source and eventually get this thing back on the road. I attempted to throw some pics in this post so hopefully they show up. Well looking forward to all the help. Thanks in advance |

Welcome to the forum. I always thought the Kikker chopper kits were a good business idea. The idea of receiving a motor bike in 3 boxes and assembling it your self just sounded too cool. In fact, I was a member on the Kikker forum for a while. I never bought one.
-surface rust is just a fact of life when you live near the salt water. Even when you have a garage. I have to remember to keep an oily rag in my tool boxes or my tools will rust beyond usefulness.

Its definitely an eye catcher and once I get here back up and running. Itll be a fun little scoot to get me round the neighborhood. Right now I'm sure I need to rewire the ignition and get new hand controls and brakes seems seized. And I'd like to get a wider tire the ones on there just feel to thin. And also hate that style bars so prolly try and find some cheap drag bars
