I gather that not all Vespa owners are Anti-Chinese. Many seem to be curious about them, know a lot more about them than they let on and are waiting for the reputation of CCS to improve so they can buy a reliable spare.
I've been quietly reading and have come to this conclusion. A successful Vespa owner is much like a successful China scoot owner. He/she does the maintenance on schedule, doesn't abuse them and understands their limitations. From what I see they break down a fair amount and only enjoy dealers willing to fix them for vast sums of money. Support a Chinese scooter doesn't have-Yet.
