I might buy that if I thought all those guys rode their scooters. Way too many trailer them those 300 miles. MIC members sold 33,000 scooters last year, Motorcycles sold like 400,000. A rally like Sturgis or Daytona attracts close to 100,000 or more attendees.
So what we're saying then, if I may postulate, is that a scooter is like a substitute vehicle for a car while a motorcycle is a Recreational machine. That might explain a lot.
