Air box fell off

Not if you care about your scooter. Sucking unfiltered air will cause accelerated wear on all of the internals. Also, without the air cleaner in place, the air/fuel mix is much leaner, causing higher engine temperatures.

I removed my airbox over 6 years ago in favor of a K&N filter setup. Because of the increased air flow, I replaced the main jet with a larger one, at the same time.
