CDI restricted?
Hello everyone!
I just changed my 6gram rollers for 4g sliders and proceeded to test the scooter. Turns out I can't even go over 10 mph. It looks like it is going to run just fine, but after accelerating and reaching 10mph, all I can hear is a deep sound (engine choking?) I don't know if this happens because the sliders I put are not the right ones (maybe too light or wrong position?) or because the CDI restricts the RPM of the scooter. Thanks again for your help guys. (Edit: In the beginning, it only reached 5mph, but I adjusted the idle speed (reducing it) and now it gets 10mph) |

I think everyone puts them in wrong the first time.
I did the same, put them in, and could not get close to top end, around 40- 45 mph, was it. I went to Dr.Pulley and watched their info. Once I put them in right, zoom zoom.
